Get rid of this terrible weather for me, President Obama: Reminisce Taiwan (Part 3)

While our southern neighbor celebrates the inauguration of their sharp-looking new president, who looks like everything in America (and the rest of the world) will be fine with him in power, I am sitting at home staring out my bedroom window into the gloomy, gray, and foggy outside. I wish he has the power to get rid of this terrible weather for me too.

So I guess I will post the final part of my summer pictures. Here are Part 1 and Part 2. I can't believe I took these pictures more than four months ago where I was sweating all the time, half-naked, and drinking nice cold beers. I took these pictures in my last couple of days in Taiwan in my grandparent's house (in central Taiwan). It was a traditional looking house with a very nice garden in the middle where I spent most of my times looking at spiders, butterflies, bees, flies, etc, and playing with our family dog. Nowhere better for my new found interest of nature observation.

Unknown butterfly species. This is probably one of my better macro pictures of a butterfly. Love it!

Great spider photos! And yes, it is a jumper; you can tell by the "headlight" eyes.
