My mother and I went to the Richmond Maritime Festival this afternoon. Despite living in Richmond for many years, this is the first time we attended this event.
A nice day with many Yellowlegs resting on logs.
Overall, the festival is quite entertaining. Lots of people, lots of activities and many special exhibits.On the way back, we passed a nice area with beautiful cosmos flowers and so I used my OM 50 f/2 lens for these photos below.
We also visited the Prickly Pear Garden Centre to look at some pretty flowers.
