So as soon as I dropped my mother back home, I grabbed my bike and headed to the dyke. Here are my photos.

While another sat on the tree next to it.

I biked all the way to Terra Nova since the weather wasn't too bad.

Even got a decent photo of a Great Blue Heron in flight along the Fraser River.
On a totally unrelated note, there is a book titled "Tar Sands: Dirty Oil and the Future of a Continent" and it's free for download here for the next few days. I haven't got a chance to read it yet, but since it's free, why not. Enjoy.

That's a pain about the car key. Hope you can solve THAT problem soon.
Nice in flight shot of that heron.
Well, it's an old car. Or maybe I am pulling the key out in a strange position, because it works fine when my father is driving it to work. Maybe I am just not really used to the old car.
But thanks for the compliment. I like that in-flight shot myself too.
