Rare sunny break = bike to south dyke

The sun made a brief appearance this afternoon, and I used this opportunity to go out and exercise for a bit by biking to the dyke.

 

Sun was getting to set as I arrived (just after 3 pm).

 

Saw a few Golden-crowned Sparrows.

Snow and cloudy on the North Shore mountains.

Pair of swan flying south.

I was photographing pigeons for a while before I noticed this young-looking juvenile Bald Eagle sitting on a tree.

Now the sun has really set (just after 4 pm).
