The only bird that I photographed yesterday. Still can't get over how brightly coloured and amazing the male cardinal is.
Saw this track (the 4-point track) and couldn't quite figure what made it. I placed my shoe next to it for comparison.
Pretty certain a raccoon made this. The lines were probably from its sweeping tail.
Full moon last night. For some reason I kept getting blurry photos shooting from the porch, and so I had to get dressed and headed to the field behind the backyard to get some photos.
This afternoon, I headed to the feeders behind the Environmental Building to see what birds were around.
Guessing this is a Chipping Sparrow in winter plumage.
American Goldfinch in winter plumage.
Black-capped Chickadee.
