Flower-watching at Terra Nova Sharing Farm

Today, my drove my mother to city centre to get a haircut and buy groceries. In the afternoon, I drove my parents to Terra Nova Sharing Farm and then to Save-On-Foods.

It was a relatively quiet day today at Terra Nova.

Saw a pair of Northern Shovelers, Gadwalls, Wigeons and Mallards.

Then we just watched the pretty flowers on the farm.

I started packing my luggage tonight. It is hard to pack for 4~5 months (especially going to a place without washer/dryer, or a good water source) because it overlaps three seasons (winter, spring, and summer) and I want to be as prepared as possible. Sigh.

Leaving home in about 37 hours.

Have a good time in Ontario!

You're going to be just a little ways away from where I was born, somewhere in Mohawk territory near Bracebridge. I've never been back since I was about 2 years old. I'll be looking for your photos!

Thank you, Susannah! Hope I will still able to update my blog & Flickr while over there. I will remember Bracebridge and maybe I will pass it one day.

Beautiful picture of a duck I still have to capture. I love the colors on the water!
