The wind had blown down most of the leaves from this tree at the back of the house. Too bad I don't have a "before" photo.
I saw the cat looking outside and I realized he was looking at a Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis). I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped a few photos.
Handsome male.
This male then flew to the neighbour's feeder and was feeding this fledgling.
This was pretty much all the outdoor stuff I did today. Back to work.
