Here are some photos from last night's Northern Saw-whet Owl (
Aegolius acadicus) banding. It was my fourth time doing it (
first,
second, and
third time), but I still feel excited to find owls on the mist nets whenever we go out and check the nets.
The progress so far this year, not as productive as last year.

On our way driving to the centre, it started to drizzle. But the cloud eventually cleared and we saw starry nights (as well as one shooting star). Not a bad evening at all.
