Today was my first day back in downtown Vancouver doing some short-term work. The weather was dark and gloomy. Not a good picture day. Yesterday, on the other hand, was much nicer. But I am still not having much luck spotting wildlife. Maybe I am just not in the spirit yet. Maybe I am still in Taiwan mode, and maybe there are just too much things going on in my life right now - most of them aren't exactly thrilled to be about. Sigh.
This one was my favorite from yesterday. It was almost just like a painting. I tried to add some artistic tools to it (such as oil painting, sketches, etc) but none came out as good as the actual photo itself.

This picture really is like a painting! You have been getting some great pictures.
The weather at the coast was pretty miserable while we were down there. We did get 2 reasonable days out of the 7 we were down but we spent both of those days driving out to the valley to visit me Mither!

I hope things get better for you soon. It's difficult, adjusting and re-adjusting to such different places. And our weather right now isn't helping.
