I was hoping to do some outdoor activities while I was back in BC last week but work took priority. I only went out once to West Dyke Trail with my mother to do some bird-watching.
The weather was nice and there were many walkers.
The adult eagles were out by the ocean.
Snow-capped North Shore mountains.
Northern Pintails (Anas acuta) and Mallards.
House Finch (Haemorhous mexicanus), according to this guide.
Then the snow started to fall on Saturday, which led to my 2-hour delay at YVR last night. What a crazy weather...especially for BC.
