Behold, the amazing Cabeza Vainilla, Cabeza Cordoba, Cabeza Chiapas (I have no idea which is which, maybe someone out there does?). This article explained the art work quite well. And when you are standing next to these giant heads with that amazing terracotta color, you can't help but feel how small you are and how young you are - the "strength and fragility" feeling that artist wants to express from his art pieces.
This one above is my favorite because he is at a position easier to be seen with your eyes and you really feel a sense of connection with it when you stand close and looking into his eyes. I recommend people to go and check it out (and hope no one will vandalize it - because I know our city and our youth, and it's probably just a matter of time before some drunk and high idiots start damaging public property). I would definitely take time and go examine them more closely again. So beautiful.
Bravo to the artist - Javier Marin!
Then my mother and I went shopping and below was our sky-watching photo when we were waiting at the Skytrain station about to go home.
