Enjoying weather while it lasts
Today is a continuation of the great weather from yesterday. Sadly, it won't last through the weekend. So I need to enjoy the sunshine and blue skies as much as possible!
Amazing sighting! I saw three hummingbirds along the trail adjacent from the wooden bridge to the Rural Area. Another first of the year! However, I underestimated the small size and speed of these hummingbirds, and this was the only image I got. Hopefully, I will see them again and able to identify the species. The Zen Birdfeeder recently posted "Fun Fact About Hummingbirds" that deserve some attention if you're a new birder like me.
It wasn't really nervous when a few dog walkers walked by, so I was able to get underneath it and take this shot.

I like how you got the muskrat in the process of diving. Its a nice action shot.
Great assortment of eagle pictures under some wonderful blue skies. We have had some great weather for a change too here in WA State.
Hi,
The shots of the bald eagle are wonderful. You are so lucky to be able to spot it so easily ;-) Our eagles are so rare that we almost never see them!
Thank you both. We are indeed lucky to have Bald Eagles right in our neighborhood, such magnificent birds.
Natural Moments - You live in Washington State? Well, hello from British Columbia then!
Chris - What kind of eagles do you guys have over there in that part of Northern Europe?
